About Lil’ Creepers

The Lil’ Creepers are a band of friends who reside in the Creep Islands. Each character is unique in his or her own way and life. Our main character Brenna is an 8 year old zombie with two moms. Her best friends are also ‘creatures of the night’, which is why I’ve deemed them – Lil’ Creepers! Come join us in our adventures! First I started with an introductory toddler/picture book, then we went into the kitchen and explored some yummy recipes with Brenna and then went on to sledding and snowman making AND the take down of a bully!

My name is Shawna Carter, and I live in Belleville, Ontario with my family, including my daughter Brenna who is the star of my growing book series. We enjoy hanging out at the park together, going to Reid’s Dairy for milkshakes and watching movies on weekends! When I’m not writing, I illustrate other children’s books too! Those titles will be released soon and you’ll find out all about it right here!

I also enjoy fundraising for children’s literacy and I call that program Literacy is Priceless. I host events where money is raised to buy gently used kid’s books from Society’s St. Vincent De Paul’s and then donate them where they are most needed in the community and surrounding areas.

I like to sit in my little cubby and write and illustrate children’s books!
